Hi everyone,
I made an account to post on here because I have an unexpected issue I require some advice on. I hope someone can help me.
My mother has 4 lovebirds living together in a large enclosure that has two nesting boxes, one of them you can hear it has baby birds inside - I think there are two. However a bad smell is coming out of it, is it okay to take out the bird box and clean it or will this disturbance harm the baby birds and the mother ?
They are not hand reared, I am worried if they do not get cleaned then they will get sick, however I also don't want to risk a disturbance if the smell coming from the nest is normal.
