We camped with our Caique in a tent for 2 three day trips this summer. We have a large secure tent as well as a screened tent that goes over a picnic table. Pixie had such a great time we will bring her every trip now! As I suspected the crows were a bit menacing at times but we just watched her. She lived either in her pac o bird back pack or in her harness so we had her outside most of the time. The weather was hot (30+degrees celcius) so I just sprayed her down a fouple of times a day and that helped. I would think a trailer should be less complex. The main thing for us was keeping her pack clean. I must say the best part was seeing the look of wonder and happiness at hearing and seeing other birds....actually made me cry if the truth be told!
