When ever I am home, I am constantly chatting to him, telling him what I am doing, and visa versa, he asks me.
They are always listening and learning, even if the are not saying the words yet. I had a job in November last year, Mishka liked the bosses name Alicia, said it a few times. Today for the first time in months he was calling for her, asking her for kisses, he shocked me.

I reckon any bird can learn to talk, if they want to that is.
Time, patience and perseverance is all it takes.
Start off with simple words, eventually making them into sentences.

You are doing the correct thing, by talking to her so much.
When at home, I spend the majority of my time in the lounge, where Mishka is most of the day.
I talk non stop to Mishka. He asks so many questions, and I reply each time.
When in the kitchen, he hears the water, he asks me.. is mommy washing? I then tell him what I am washing.
If I am cleaning the lounge, I tell him, and he says mommy is cleaning.
When eating, asks me Mommy is eating, I tell what I am eating.

Sometimes Steven does not know if I am talking to him or to Mishka LoL
