What sex is my 8 month cockatiel?

Hi, so I got a cockatiel yesterday and I am wondering what sex he/she is. I know that it is 8 months old. Thank you in advance!

Well if it's eight months old and has already had its first molt, then it is a female. The color mutation is called pearl, normally females only keep the pearls. Of course, there's a small chance it could be a male, the best way to 100% know is a blood test
