What's a good friend for my sun conure?

Since my Cockatiel Bolt passed away my sun conure Seraphina, or just Fifi has been acting a lot more lonely and doesn't have anyone to reply to her screams, as she's never been alone around no other birds for a significant period of time in her life. I've been looking for a friend for her and need some suggestions on what kind of bird would make a good companion for her. I love small birds like lovebirds, beebees, and budgies but I don't want to risk her severely injuring these little birds. I've been interested in lories but the rocket poop factor has deterred me, alongside the highly specialized diet that they have. Pois have always interested me, but they tend to be the type of bird that bonds to one thing only. GCCs are great, but the small size and rambunctious personality could risk them getting a nasty bite if she's not in a mood to play. Cockatiels are a no go, they're very sweet but they're extremely fragile compared to any other bird I've interacted with, especially with them potentially dying from night fright, and I don't want to go through that again. Caiques and Pionuses are the most promising out of the options, but I still need help finding the optimal friend for Fifi. She's very easily spooked, and will alarm at a wind gust but she is sweet otherwise. She dislikes hands, but she'll tolerate them for a short amount of time.

In my opinion, Conures generally have a higher success rate with other Conures. I enjoy my silly Black Cap and she’s a bit bigger than my Green Cheek.

Thanks! Decided to set my sights on another Aratinga sp. Conure, probably a female gold crown or a female jenday, if I could find a sexed female a dusky would be my first choice but they're not too common.

(The reason I want a female is because I don't want to even have the potential risk of babies, I am not prepared for that!)

I can only say from experience that BeeBees are FEARLESS and will refuse to be pushed around by larger birds. Mine effectively beat up a big cockatoo one time.

One of the biggest reasons we're extra careful about when and where the big guy gets to be out is the beebees, because they have no sense. I agree and really don't think they feel fear like other birds.

Forgot to add - we've always had the best luck with same-species friends.

That's hilarious! Cockatoos are no joke either so I'm surprised this little GCC sized bird can bully a big cockatoo like that!
