White tips on flight feathers?

Hi I have a 13month old sunconure, latley the tips of the longer blue flight feathers have turned white looking like they are drained of colour. Being fed mostly harrisons pellets with abit of fruit,veg and seeds on the side. Anyone have any ideas?

a lot of people freak out about this.. i find that its just because of the sun or a molt.

The color leaches from the feathers when they are ready to be molted.

It's very possible your sunny has pied in his family line somewhere. It does happen.
His flights could change with each molt.

White tips isn't necessarily a sign of pied... some sun conures get white tips on their flights and others don't. The ones that do may have a small amount of white, while in others, the white may increase as they age.
