Hi guys im from the uk does anybody no how u dna test ya bird plzz il put a picture of him on hes a very big parrot and dark courled and a very red tail
Presently have six Greenwing Macaw (17 yo), Red Fronted Macaw (12 yo), Red Lored Amazon (17 y.o.), Lilac Crowned Amazon (about 43 y.o.) and a Congo African Grey (11 y.o.)
Panama Amazon (1 Y.O.)
I agree with birdman a dna test is the only real way to find out if you have a male or a female. Its not that easy to visually sex greys and you can never be 100% sure by visual sexing, a dna test is the only way to positivly sex greys!
Usually like just with my greys - the boy is darker I'm not sure of that helped or not beaus we hav a boy and a girl and the boy is darker and just in case some vets do it u can do it surgically or some places u send them blood
