Sex my African gray

Baby Female Congo Grey.....

I'am gonna guess female , she looks like Baby our female grey , our female is much lighter in color then our male

Presently have six Greenwing Macaw (17 yo), Red Fronted Macaw (12 yo), Red Lored Amazon (17 y.o.), Lilac Crowned Amazon (about 43 y.o.) and a Congo African Grey (11 y.o.)
Panama Amazon (1 Y.O.)
DNA is really the only reliable way.
And there are two sub-species of Congo African Grays (i.e. red tails)
The smaller birds come from the coastal regions of Africa. (aka "coastal" or "normal" grays) (350-ish grams)
The significantly larger birds come from the interior regions of Africa. ("Silver" grays) (450+ grams - My "silver" gray is PRETTY HUGE at 560 grams)
So, size isn't the indicator of the bird's sex, it's the indicator of where the bird's parents were captured and imported from.
Do a DNA test to find out if it's a boy or a girl.

African grey soon!!
I agree with birdman a dna test is the only real way to find out if you have a male or a female. Its not that easy to visually sex greys and you can never be 100% sure by visual sexing, a dna test is the only way to positivly sex greys!

try avian biotech the DNA ur bird they send a kit out for u and all u av to do is pull a few feathers off his chest and send them off it dosant really hurt him think it costs £15 -£20
