Adorable! Every time I open one of your baby posts I want another bird!!! Especially the IRN pics! I have always wanted an IRN baby, you're making it really difficult to forget!

Pic for today! After their feeding. Right now they are eating every 3 hours. If they had been pulled at the right age they would likely be at every 4 hours but they are still too uncertain of the process to eat quite as much as I would like. Ideally I would like them to be eating about 12cc per feeding, but they are pretty sure 8-9cc is the correct amount. Oh well! When you don't do things "the right way" you pay the price! In this case, more frequent feedings lol.

We have achieved the four hour feeding schedule!! Hurray! They are taking 12cc every 4 hours instead of 9 every 3 hours and I'm quite relieved!

Also a second Ino baby arrived early this morning :)

And our naked cockatiel babies; we had to remove the male because he went into a plucking frenzy and made all his babies bald. But they are feathering in again!

Ok here is a big dump because I've been slacking lol

These two have names! The turquoise is staying with me for sure, and his/her name is Fury. The little blue is probably staying as well, not sure yet, and his/her name is Cyrus.

so, quick question, with all those birds.... how's the poop situation? Like, are you constantly wiping up their droppings or maybe you do a lot of laundry? Do you just vacuum it up? I only have two and it's a struggle. my tiel is easy cause she has little hard round poops that just roll off everything. My sunnie though has some real wet type poops. neon green sometimes. His morning poops are like spinach and artichoke dip and they make me gag.

With babies this little, we wipe it up constantly. With the older birds they mostly hang out in places where we have paper or towel down,. They also wear flight suits sometimes and I'm trying to get better at that. I keep saying I'm going to potty train them but I honestly just haven't done it yet.

my tiel is, for the most part, potty trained. It was so easy, she basically learned on her own. She still has accidents. When I take her out to play poker we are usually out up to 4 hours and I take her outside to do her business every hour (poker breaks once an hour). I'm so proud of her. I'm in the process of making her an ESA. Already got the paperwork set out to my doctor! Once I get it back I should be able to bring her to work!

That's great that your boss is allowing you to bring her in :) that will be fun!

My dog is my ESA, but as you know ESAs don't actually have any public access rights like service animals. Fortunately I work from home.

So Harry Houdini apparently escaped from his brooder and went looking for snuggles from my husband while I was enjoying my Saturday morning snooze.

Today the oldest 4 will spend the day in the big birdy cage :)
