That's great that your boss is allowing you to bring her in :) that will be fun!

My dog is my ESA, but as you know ESAs don't actually have any public access rights like service animals. Fortunately I work from home.

yes BUT the americans with disability act dictates that an employer must give reasonable accommodation to any special needs. If my doc says I need an ESA my employer says it should be ok. I had to do all this paperwork though.

Another giant group lol, I love this age!

Harry Houdini is the oldest of the bunch and is an absolute HAM!

Preening like a big birdy! This is also HH.

Fury and Cyrus found a new hiding (napping?) spot!

BB (Baby Blue) had me worried for a bit. I left the babies in the care of my husband for a few minutes and came back to find my head count a little short. Checked under and behind al the furniture and couldn't find him, and then I HEARD the little stinker moving around! He was inside the bookshelf (so I didn't see him when I looked behind it) but behind the books. Pardon the dust, it's not a shelf we take things off of very often.

As of today, Harry Houdini and Fury have been flying to me. Every time a baby starts doing that I come close to tears.

1) I'm so proud of them for the skill it takes to do such a controlled flight, and how smart they are and how well they are learning to interact with their environment.

2) I love that they voluntarily choose to seek me out even when I don't have food

3) I get frustrated all over again that pet stores and lazy breeders around the country are telling people that if you don't clip the wings the babies won't trust you. It's so sad and so untrue.

Here are a few pics from today.

The four older babies having their "big birdy cage time"

Already playing with toys! When people bring home a baby bird that won't play it breaks my heart to know that the baby most likely wasn't given toys early on. This is BB playing and Fury being annoyed at me lol.

Harry Houdini testing out pellets in the toy box!

And the youngest two (still nameless) got a few minutes of play time before going back in the brooder.

Here is a video from a couple of years ago when I got annoyed that people were saying wings had to be clipped for a bird to be tame. The albino cockatiel in the video is Honi, one of my current breeders and I absolutely love her. One of the pied babies is Sweety, who is currently back with me for foster care while her owner goes through a temporary crisis.

I just snapped this and I had to share it!

This is Fury, the only turquoise in the bunch, and I'm keeping her (I THINK it is a female).

Her mother is Blue, my first ever IRN and half sister to my darling Kaleo and Nohea.

AMEN!!! Birds brought up the way you are doing it have a much better chance of growing up stable and well-adjusted. This is what comes of allowing babies to fully fledge.

So cute!! Remind me what colors the parents are?

I have a few favorite mutations and lutinos are one of them. I know they aren't terribly uncommon but they are SO PRETTY! They just look soft no matter what.

I'm really smart; I posted my update without moving to the last page and I thought I had missed a really recent update of your babies. It's been one of those days. Now I feel less guilty for missing it, and more silly than I already did lol.

lol I'm actually suspecting this violet of being dark factor in which case I'll keep him lol. I'm hoping the tiny one is violet too, but he might be blue.

Thanks! This one is being a bit of a struggle because he was pulled fairly late (just a few days ago) and NEVER handled before then. Kona, the creamino, I produced myself and handled for just a few seconds each day, and she is eating like a charm!

Sorry I missed this.
The father is a whiteface I think he could be split to pear
The female is cinnamon.
One of the female offspring is pearl. that's why I think there is a recessive or split to pearl in the father.
