Frankie went to go see Santa on Monday. He told Santa he was a very good boy, and that he never screams and it was the green birds that ate the walls, he swears. He also asked for bananas and walnuts and Legos.

Well, I guess it’s b/c Levi has already won the POTM Contest and I’d like for others to have a chance. That didn’t come out right ...hmmm 🤔
Don’t take that the wrong way, in
that I think Levi is always worthy of winning. Of course, I think that b/c I’ll admit I’m biased when it comes to him.
But, you know what I mean. Right? 🥴

I didn't get the chance to have Christmas with Patches, so this is my boy Nuke, aptly named by my son, Jonathan, for the nuclear waste he leaves in the yard. Merry Christmas to you all! Enjoy.

Just a frame of reference for the tree- Nuke is half German Shepherd, and is about 100 pounds. Serious challenge getting that thing through the door. (The tree, not the dog lol!)

Nuke looks like a really sweet dog... despite the less-sweet-than-pungent origin of his name. Lol! Half German shepherd. What's the other half?

That is one massive tree! Can't wait to show this one to my wife! She finally got me to downsize from our 10 footer to a more "manageable" 6ish footer. (And sentenced my poor tree to exile in the attic. Her argument was that I was the only one who could wrestle the big one down from there) But yours makes even my 10 footer look positively... petite! It shall be my Exhibit A for next year's discussions! Lol!

Hahaha. Yup, it's a big one, but a downsize for us this year too. This one's about 14 ft, down from traditional 16-17 ft. Tried to convince Jonathan that 9-10 ft would be just fine, but NOOOOO! Oh, and yes, it is a real one. We're in Maine you know...

And, Nuke's mom was a border collie/yellow lab mix. Dad was the Shepherd. He was bred to be a service dog for Jonathan, but way too intense for the job. Too much herding and blocking , and intensely smart. It's okay though, he turned into a great therapy pup for me
