I picked him up yesterday. I'm keeping him in my bedroom for now for quarantine. Still need to name him. It's dna'd male.

I can tell already he likes being stroked and having his head scritched.

I just asked Pete what the baby bird should be named and he said, "Petey", which is extremely hilarious because it's the first time I have heard him say his name!!

That's funny! I had actually thought of Petey cause it was my grandfather's name. So far he seems like a pretty mellow little birdie.

Oh my gosh! He is getting so sweet already and I've only had him for 4 days!

He loves head scritches and sits on my shoulder while I walk around and watches me so intently when I talk to him. He's so mellow! When he flutters off and I pick him up he doesn't try to bite me.

Still thinking on a name. Nothing is striking me yet. For right now, he is "baby birdie".
