I have a green cheek conure Charlie and he is looking a little shabby and seems to bite more than usual ... He is on fruit and pellets and I get him out all the time and he climbs up my arms and legs and behind my head but if I try to use my hands too much then he gets snappy at me ... Is it time for moulting here in Australia??? Just worried about losing my snuggle friend

What a cutie! I do know this time of year all my birds can get a little testy. The link that Flboy provided should be helpful!

Welcome Kimmi and Charlie :)

If Charlie enjoys baths or showers, that helps a little with comfort during a molt. Even if he's not molting, their feathers can get dirty and look shabby if they haven't bathed in awhile.

He is very handsome! And looks quite happy on your shoulder.
