I feed my parrots Zupreem Fruit blend. My baby grey seems to like her Roudybush best though.

Isn't Zupreem unhealthy because the coloring? Do you know if that is true?

I really like Zupreem. Avoid a seed diet. Stick to pellets, they are much better for your parrot.

I read in Birds USA that tiels should have more seed in their diet, so should I just feed some extra seed as treats? Also I went on Zupreem.com and saw the Natural Bird food. Have you ever used this and do you recommend I stick with fruit blend. Thanks for help btw :)

Acorn - a Yellow Sided Green Cheek Conure;
Bob - a Cockatiel;
Cricket - an American Budgie
I am no expert, but what I have read (and what I am doing) is giving Bob (a tiel) a mixture of seeds and pellets. As I understand it pellets are more nutritious than seeds, but desert birds like tiels do not drink enough to properly digest a purely pellet based diet and so need seeds. They also need fresh vegitables, but Bob seems to share my opinion of them; I will keep trying.

hahah. Yeah I read cockatiels need more seed than normal birds so i think i will find a good seed mixture and mix it with 75% pellets
