Strange question

For my birds breakfast, I actually but the food in a bowl, put water in it, microwave it, and let it cool down, so its kind of like an oatmeal!

Anything heated in the microwave never heats evenly so there will be hot spots in the food, it is always a good idea to mix it through & let it cool before giving it to the birds. I have seen all to often hand-rearers feed a chick formula straight from the microwave & burn a hole in the babies crop.

same has heating food for a baby, make sure there are no hot spots!and your bird will love it :) they really like warm food
