And I haven’t shared any pics of Carlin lately; who was SUPPOSED to be the newest flock member for a while lol. She is absolutely a charming little lady! All the adorableness and manners one could hope for tonight she is helping Josh with some army-homework-nonsense, and doing some goofing off. Pardon the laundry in the back ground!

Tsali is sort of in the spotlight right now so I hope you will indulge my bragging.

It’s a treat to welcome such a well adjusted bird into our flock; I’ll be honest; I’m not used to having mentally and emotionally healthy birds join my flock unless I raise them. With Tsali there is no damage to repair, nothing to fix.

He’s chatting up a storm, using requests in context, learning how our family and flock functions, and just in general being a joy to have around. His first mom has sacrificed so so much to give him the best life possible; my respect for her grows every day.

I really like it. I have small hands and like the smaller phone and it does everything I need it to; I actually just ordered a certified refurbished one because I made the mistake of buying the 16gb phone and it just isn’t sufficient at all, so I’m getting a 128gb but otherwise the same phone.

I see your point! My previous was an iPhone 4; loved the small size and square-sided body. Your SE is indeed a fine phone, but shame on Apple for selling a 16gb phone.... all but unusable. A bummer one cannot replace the memory card with similar or upgraded.

Basically! I had no idea what I was doing to myself! I run 2 businesses from my phone; it just doesn’t work for what I need.

I intended to get a new phone on Black Friday or cyber Monday but the deals just weren’t there for what I needed.

In other news, we had a very UNWELCOME visitor this week.

Thankfully the parrots were in their breeding cages, not free flying. Actually that’s how he got in; since the birds were caged and we were going in and out getting things done, the aviary door wasn’t latched just shut. He took advantage. I’m calling him Cooper, since he is a Cooper’s Hawk apparently.

Wow! Unwelcome AND unexpected, I bet! Probably the last sight you thought you'd be greeted by in the aviary! Did he leave on his own? Or did it take coaxing?
