So the YST is 'yellow-sided turqoise', I assume green cheek conure?

I've figured out that Skittles may 'technically' be classified as a sun conure, however, I refer to him as a 'neon nightmare'. haha

Yes green cheek conures have many color mutations, this is just another one of them. My signature pic and avatar are of a normal yellow sided green cheek.

More pictures of my baby girl. Now that this is settled I need a name for her. I was thinking of a fruit of veggie name to go with Pumpkin but I'm not sure. Pumpkin was hatched on Halloween that's how he got his name... This girl doesn't have a special birthday like that... Names....just ANOTHER descision to make haha

They are just beautiful! I wish I could have another conure, I'd love to have a green cheek but Skitty would never allow it.

I love how green cheeks have those 'lines' on their heads and necks.

Well, I am glad you are still going to adopt her! You are right about the noise, Sun Conures can be really loud for certain people.

I know this is a weird name, but she looks like a Broccoli to me! And you can nick-name her...something like Celi? or Lee? I do not know....lol

Although I enjoy that name the most, here are a few other ideas~

Anise, Basil, Brie, Chai, Clove, Mocha, Nilla, Sage, Mint, Chikory, Pepsi, Praline, Parsnip.

ONE WEEK LATER: oh gosh they grow so fast. Still hoping this baby is a boy. Waiting impatiently for DNA results.

wow..one week he/she is just a handful of pin feathers and a beak..next week he/she has coloring..Amazing! And btw..I hope its a boy too lol!

Our ride home. She was playing and sleeping. Once we got home She fell asleep on my chest so I let her stay there for a while then put the birds away for the night. She didn't like that. She was climbing around squeaking and very upset. Finally she wore herself out. She's asleep now.
