I have a bunch of broccoli greens/leaves from the trimming I did and I'm wondering if I can give them to my birds.

I offer broccoli to my flock, very few will eat. Definitely safe, only precaution is to avoid insecticide and wash before serving.

Archie loves broccoli, but store bought, and that don’t come with no leaves! I’m shocked you’re saying it grows with them, but I grew up in Brooklyn and don’t have a clue.

He also loves beets, but I trash the greens, and I don’t know why. I know the actual beet is great for him, and it’s not going to break the bank to discard the leaves.

Beet greens are a part of Saltys current chop mix.
