So, I've taken the cover-19 test. Yes, the original virus test that uses a swab that seems to go in forever! Once in place, it's a couple of spins (ouch) to assure that they capture whatever maybe at that far upper corner. I was assured that what little brain cells are left are not removed as part of the process!
So, I arrived at 3:30 pm (that's 15:30 late for Scott). The line was short, only three vehicles in front of me. Within a short few minutes, I arrived at the entry check point. The individual held-up a card that instructed one to call a number and check-in. A couple of quick questions an a minute later I was directed to pull into stall #4. Not a busy time as of the six stalls only two where in use.
I was provided a instruction document and told to remove my face mask and tilt my head back and turn slightly to the right. A couple of minor adjustments and the insertion of the swab occurred. No reason to repeat above.... And yes, ouch.
Turn around time, mid afternoon tomorrow (Monday)!
Was it the end of the world, no! Would I want to take another, no! Did I take it because I'm sick no!! Just a requirement of an elective surgery that had been on-hold for a bit over six plus weeks. Life gets better very soon...
