Fine misting

How do I tell whether Chester is enjoying being sprayed with a fine mist of water.
Are there any obvious signs

My Indian Ringneck loves to be sprayed/misted. He will spread his wing all the way out.

Not every bird likes being sprayed with water, three out of my four LOVE a misting of water, except for my lorikeet who prefers dunking himself in his water dish and will fly away from the mist bottle. My two 'tiels and my princess parrot make quite the display whenever I mist them, they'll hold their wings out and fluff their feathers up to catch more water, they're pretty obvious about how much they enjoy it. Best thing to do is spray the mist upwards so that it falls down on Chester like a shower of rain rather than directly at him, he's more likely to enjoy it that way. Even if he doesn't absolutely love it, as long as it doesn't distress him it's good to give him a light misting every so often as it helps with feather maintenance.

I'm not sure if he enjoyed it or not as he just sat there looking at me. He didn't sqawk or try to get away.
Tomorrow I will try again from above him a bit and see what his reaction is

Maybe Chester hasn't made up his mind. Sometimes it is easy. Nameliss hates it. She tries to attack, with screaming and growling like she's being eaten. If she sees an unattended squirt bottle, sneak and attack mode is initiated.

Most likely if he doesn't jump all over his cage. My CAG takes lots of baths in her drinking water. When I catch her, I allow her to finish and then wash the cup and refill it with fresh water. I hadn't thought to spray water OVER her. I tried it one day, and she didn't mind. A little surprised, but it didn't seem to bother her, so I will continue when it is hot. We are in PNW, and it is usually cold here. I wouldn't do it then.

When I finally tried this, I sprayed high over her head and never pointed the mister at her or got too close to the cage. It didn't seem to frighten her, and the mist fell on her. She did okay.
