Oh I love geckos!! Are yours "wild" or are you breeding them? We have LOTS of them running around in our house, they're funny little buggers but they do get rather bad tempered with each other and go to war a lot!!

Oh, that one is wild, that species is pretty common but very fast 😅
What kind are the ones you see in your house?
The ones that live in the house aren't actually native here, they're Asian house geckos and apparently they've only been in Australia since the early 1980's. But they went forth and multiplied VERY rapidly, which is no surprise to me cos I see their eggs in the house EVERYWHERE!!
And this is what they sound like - except for when they wrestle and fight with each other and then it's MUCH louder!
It's funny, even though they're not native, that sound just says "Queensland" to most of us here now

They’re really cool. And very vocal, I didn’t know about this species, always fascinating to learn about a new species!

They are in fact! A small percent, I wanna say she told me 10-15% wolf, so they will act like dogs mostly.
