Friend ISO GW Macaw in TX

A friend of mine has just started researching GW Macaws and will begin her search for a reputable, responsible breeder at some point next year within theg state of Texas. Any recommendations?

I follow JC Aviary based in Texas on Instagram and they have beautiful birds. Not sure if they have the parents on the premises or if they buy unweaned babies in bulk like other breeders do but that's the only one I know of in Texas.

Thank you for the info on JC Aviary. It looks like they have nothing but babies. They are lovely, but I would rather help her find a breeder who has the parents on site so she can see how they're cared for and make sure they're free of disease.

Is there a database for breeders in the US?

If you do just a general Google search for "Greenwing Macaw breeders" you'll find all kinds of links to associations that list individual breeders, along with tons of individual breeder's pages...

also have a look to see if there are any bird clubs/meets in the area and find out if anyone knows a good breeder
