Thanks! How should I go about cleaning it? Should I put the chicks into a tub or something and just change the nesting material?

Line the box/nest with paper towels and change them every day. Baby birds eat a lot (more than adults) and poop a lot!

Hand feed them if the parents aren't keeping their crops full. Its easy to tell- a full crop looks like a bulging sac on their neck.
