I've been thinking, and this is kinda grasping at straws, but worth a shot. When I worked in vet med, we dealt with a ton of lost/found pets. The most common scenario we saw for owners being reunited with purebred dogs and exotics was the reward being the purchase of the same breed/type of animal they're missing. The idea behind this, particularly with exotics, is when someone finds an uncommon animal, they're suddenly brought into a whole new world they would not otherwise experience. They start to enjoy it and get attached and their judgement gets clouded. Now think of it from a non-parrot person's perspective...
"This big, beautiful exotic bird landed in my yard and is super sweet? She'll step right up for me? She must be the unicorn of parrots cause everyone knows they're mean and evil and bite."
We all know parrots have a bad reputation. So Maggie, a spectacular, sweet bird being nice to some stranger might make it hard for them to do the right thing. They might be thinking, "Hey this bird likes me, she must want to stay with me!" The money might not be enticing enough for them. But offering to buy whoever has her their own "Maggie" and teaching them how to train their own "Maggie" would be very enticing...

I'm hoping the new reward ads will stir the pot. Especially if Maggie's starting to get restless and pissy with who ever has her...
Just to reiterate here, folks, as much as I hate to: solicitation for funds is simply not allowed on the Forum. Not even for a cause as heart-wrenching as this one. It was allowed in the past and very bad experiences with less than scrupulous people have ruined it for everyone.Just a thought, we've all heard of crowd funding, well how about that same concept to help Birdman666 get his baby back.
Those of us who can and choose to, offer money to the cause for a reward, that way if he feels the need to up the anti significantly we can all help.
I'd gladly offer 25-50$ for the cause, if 20 of us did that he can make the reward too good to pass up (not suggesting he hasn't).
I know I would love such help if I had to pay to get my own bird back.
Have you spoken to managers of all pet stores in the area to BOLO for anyone saying they just got a macaw? They will need food and supplies if so.
