Icy day parrot painting

Today I got the day off due to an ice storm we just had. It was the perfect time to do up a painting. I'm donating it to the local parrot rescue for their annual auction. Hopefully it will help raise some money.

Sadly our puffy model is also a plucker so he didn’t help beyond the suggestion of the pink feather that matches his.

I've done a few greys in my day, and the eye color always drove me crazy, but I think you nailed it.
