Ok~ I am going to start Juicing tomorrow for health reasons (I can not eat whole fruits or veggies bc I have Gastroparesis). My question is would it be ok to give my birds the pulp etc that is left behind? Would there be any nutritional value to the remains?

To be honest, I don't know. I juice occasionally, and always give the fids some of the actual juice, not the leftovers. Those I toss in the garden.

Depends what it is, I think. There wouldn't be much in orange pith (and it wouldn't taste nice either), stuff like carrot pulp would just be like mashed carrot I think. Again it might not taste that good with all the juice out of it. I'd also want to be sure that the stuff hasn't been sprayed. Although any residue wouldn't be a problem on a whole piece of fruit, if you are only taking all the outsides, it might be in a higher concentration.
