Oh my gosh I am so Angry for you!!!!! There is no way I would have paid for the visit or even let them keep going. I would have probably called the police. I am so so so so so sorry for you!! You should report them!!!!! I hope your sweet kiwi is doing better now.

A vet should not be treating animals they are not trained for. Worse yet they told you they have handled birds before. You would definitely report this vet to someone for this.
