Laser Pointers

I just found out today that my IRN loves chasing the red dot. I always thought only cats and dogs do that.

And I found a video of a parrot trying to catch the red dot

So laser pointers are a good "toy" your parrot can play with. Obviously, don't point the laser in its eyes and stop doing it if you see that it makes him mad.

I do this with Pazu! It's great fun until he decides to go the the laser pointer instead of the dot

Just be certain the laser energy doesn't touch the parrot's eyes! (or any other creature)

Bacca is entirely uninterested. In fact, I'm fairly sure she realizes where the dot comes from as she turns and looks at my hand rather than where I've aimed the dot. I caught her attempting to look into the end of my laser pen (don't know if it would have hurt her but I'm not going there).
