Jim mentioned that it's been awhile since I posted any pictures of lovely Lucille, so I decided to follow in the footsteps of Gail and Rickeybird and make a scrapbook that I can update! Only I'm going for digital because I don't actually have a printer to print out the photos of Luci!
Name: Lucille Wilson
Hatchday: April Fool's Day 2016
Arrival Day: October 1, 2016
Birthplace: Brightwood Aviary, Dawsonville, Georgia
Breeder: Carmen
Here is the only baby picture of Lucille that I have (she's the one on the left) as her brothers and sisters were sold a little earlier than she was. Two other people wanted her, but I was the only one who actually had the cash (her breeder doesn't take credit cards). That money probably should have been used for other things, but after the tragic death of Bevo (which was entirely my fault for only keeping her out of my house after the bug exterminators were there for a week when obviously the fumes were still rampant), I was in desperate need of a feathered fid to love, something I'm certain all you parronts out there understand!
Here is her on October 2, 2016, only a day after arrival.
Here are shots of her and I today, November 13, 2016, in the car, awaiting my mother's return.
We've been working on our kisses on command trick; she's started to make the sound!
I also got a (very gentle) nibble on the nose... I've had her six weeks now and she has yet to bite me or even nip hard!
My look of disapproval sucks.
Looking cute together.
What a beautiful lady!
