We're all guilty of it, poking a camera or a phone into our birdies faces at all sorts of inopportune moments. Try as hard as we might to get them to strike the perfect pose, it's often the spontaneous photos that work out for the best. Like that time I caught Fang while he was waving his cute little
foot in the air...
.... or when I captured this priceless look on Jem's face!!
"Why are you pointing that thing at me again?!"
Peachie did not look best pleased when I snapped her preening
after a bath!
"A little privacy please, Mother!!"
Sometimes the results are so bad they're actually pretty good ...
... but others can turn out to be absolutely spectacular. This remains the best bird photo I ever took - I was trying to take pics of Peachie eating her veg when Lovejoy photobombed her with
sensational results!
