Mishka cousin is coming to visit

Nice words sis. I tried to do the evening talking lessons with Rosie but she will not sit still. Lately she is getting more agitated in the evenings because she knows she will soon see me put her to bed and leave her for the other room. This is new behavior. Only child syndrome??

They are so clever !!!!!!

Here is my routine with Mishka every night.

At 5pm, after dinner, she goes onto the playpen. Plays a bit, then get her yoghurt. Plays some more, then we have dinner at 6pm. She joins in (little bits here and there). After dinner, she sits on my lap, we wrestle and play for a while, I try tire her out. When the news bulletin music starts, at 7pm, she hops onto my hand. We chat continuously for 1 hour, saying lots of words, sentences. It is unbelievable, how she sits facing me beak to nose, for such a long period. Obviously taking breaks for the potty.
To me this time together, is so special, our bonding and interacting time together. This is one time of the day, she sits quietly, just listening. I find it the perfect time to train her.
Sometimes, her routine is not kept, then she is not a happy birdie and sure lets me know.

Zazo is finally beginning to trust me.... It took me a week and 2 days, being extremely patient and persevering.
Zazo sat on my lap last night for 2 hours, after Mishka went to bed.
Please don't tell Mishka !!!!!!
We chatted and played, he finally perfected "high five" he looks so cute OMG
His favourite seat is now the potty, he hits target "bulls eye"
AND he lets me kiss him.
I hope he is having a wonderful vacation.

Sometimes I am in two minds, whether I should give feedback, what they are up to ............
I don't want to bore you guys.
THEN something happens and I have to share it

I will be sad when he goes BUT I will be even more happy, to have Mishka talking like she normally does
Most of her day she is calling Zazo, telling him I love you Zazo, Zazo is a good boy, Zazo is a birdie, Zazo come here give me kiss please....

Was so funny last night, Mishka was already on the playpen, when I took Zazo out his cage. She ran over to the other end saying Zazo I love you I love you Zazo Zazo climbed to the top of the playpen, Mishka then said to him, come here Zazo, give me a kiss please.
Moments like this are sure going to be missed

I actually videoed them on Wednesday, not so clever on my part LoL
I had them both in Mishka's cage, for the first time together, videoed them using my cell phone.
I could not fit them in together properly turned the camera sideways
Now all the video's are sideways, trying to figure out a way, to turn them the right way......
Will video them again this weekend, wish me luck

That's OK we can just turn our monitors on the side, and we love hearing the stories so keep on sharing (it's the best thing that's happening in SA for us Aussies at the moment)

And if you were to have Zazo for a few months, just saying, could it be poosible that they would mate? Even though they are cousins? And if they did, would the chicks be malformed or something? Just like with humans if you have babies with a blood relative. Just wondering...

Oooops my error forgot to say who is who
Zazo is the bird on top always, always the one on the left side :11:
Mishka is the bird, at the bottom, always on the right side, trying to kiss Zazo all the time. :11:
Zazo and Mishka are not "cousins" LoL, Zazo is my sister's bird (child) so that makes him my nephew and Mishka's cousin.

Another problem I have never had Mishka DNA and neither has Zazo been. If we knew what sex they were, and one was male and one female, I think if given more time together, they would probably mate.

They connected so nicely last night, actually sitting on the playpen, seated right next to each other, preening themselves. Then Zazo was following Mishka all around, something he has never done before.

So cool!!!!! If you make another video could you make it with the natural sound even if there is not much?? I would so enjoy hearing the bird chatter. I would love to get a male grey for a friend for Rosie but do not want to spend all that money and it is very difficult to find a grey for adoption. I am pretty sure I ran into a scammer. I was looking at a grey that was supposed to be in Md. but after this person talked to me more they were in Washington state and wanted me to send them $500 for the shipping. No No I will not fall for that one. Sent photos and everything.

Trying to get them close enough together. Adding it to Movie Maker, then editing it, adding the music, then to load it onto YouTube
