This month’s theme:

Fall(?) FLAVORites!

EB6005B7-4581-4A43-98F0-3D7F304A6238.png

‘Tis the season for (if you’re in the Northern Hemisphere) pumpkin spice lattes, pecan pie (do y’all say PUHKAN or PEECAN?!) and all sorts of roasted bir- oh, wait, maybe don’t mention that part.

Or maybe you’re one of the folks on the other side of the coin, and well into spring! I’m thinkin’ lavender lattes, strawberries, key lime pie…

As you can see, I really love seasonal food - and so do my birds!

For this month’s contest, I’d love to see your birds with their favorite seasonal food!

This can be a regular part of their diet, a treat, or maybe they’ve snuck something naughty off your plate?!

Here are some examples to start you off:

His Highness and my best food boy, Kirby, enjoying his FAVORITE seasonal treat, freshly sliced apple!

Beets, squash, and sprouts make a well rounded root veggie palate, and a very messy beak! (bonus points for the rather embarassing booger…)

The contest will run until the morning (PST) of Nov. 28th, and a poll for voting will go up then.
The winner will be announced on Dec. 1st.

The winner will receive a Supporting Membership for a year,
and their photo will be on the forum home page as the winner for the month of November!
The winning entry will also be entered into the Photo of the Year contest held next January.
You also get a nifty banner on your profile that says," Parrot of the Month".

One official entry per person, but you can add as many Just for Fun entries as you want!

Please make sure to specify which one is your official entry, and remember to follow all Forum rules for safety, etc.

Please include your bird's name somewhere in your post!

Good luck everyone, I can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Haha, I didn’t wanna leave y’all out! Plus, after gorging on pumpkin cookies this weekend, a different seasonal offering sounds really tempting… I didn’t know it was possible to have too much pumpkin but I think I’ve finally done it. Kirby does not appreciate that I put chocolate in them so he couldn’t have any.

Ooh this will be fun! But, it's spring here in SA! Eh, I can still take a pic if them eating heir favourite treats in Spring.
Absolutely! I should have made it more clear in the title but it’s really about any seasonal treat/food. It just happens that November in the US has a lot of food holiday action, so I had food on the brain!

“Official Entry”

Lovejoy LOVES a bouquet of native grevillea and callistemon flowers that bloom most prolifically in the southern hemisphere’s winter and spring, and it makes for a glorious show of colour in the sunshine too ☺️

Well.................................... subtlety, sentimentality, and grace are not the Rickeybird's specialties, but...

Every family Thanksgiving needs its weird uncle, right?

The Rb is ON IT!
We are, as always, here for whatever the RB brings to the table. Literally and figuratively. :ROFLMAO:
