Miss Ona had her annual exam earlier this week. Clean bill of health! She was so sociable and excited at the vet - she danced through most of the appointment! Little social butterfly

I bought it but you could make one too! I got it from My Safe Bird Store

That does look like a fun toy for avians. Provided the bird doesn't like to destroy rope. I had made a PVC substituted. Unfortunately it was destroyed. I was moving. I thought my daughter picked up and put in the car. She thought the same about me. I was watching bird, dogs and cats. CRUNCH. I never had motivation for a repeat.

Ona has always loved what we call “the bird hold”:

She will sit in your hand like this for an hour if you let her, or even take a nap, as she is the photo above.

Ona is particular about her bird hold. While in a bird hold Ona doesn’t like to be touched by anyone else, or even by your other hand.

Well, lately Yuri has decided she’s jealous of the bird hold and wants in.

So she has started invading Ona, being the (surprisingly) patient big sister she is, allows her to join her bird hold with only minimal complaint.

Just so sweet. Look at my girl sharing with her little sister so nicely.

You're so lucky they get along so well. So many people would love to have this result when introducing two birds and most are disappointed.

Looks like it's a bird "group hug" now. Let me tell you Lovejoy would NEVER allow that!!

I am! It wasn’t without effort though. I did spend about a month working on very slowly introducing them and encouraging activities together while also helping to enforce boundaries at first. Had I not done that, I don’t think it would have been the same result. It helps that Yuri was a baby when they were introduced as well.
