Just "pick around" on guitar really (needs new strings bad)

I was a carpenter for many years and am finally building up my tool collection again, I plan on starting to build some furniture in the spring hopefully. AFTER I fix the walls in the house the GW's tore up.

Also love photography as well, used to take 100's of pics of boat racing events. Actually sold some of those back when I was doing it.

My other hobbies are my dogs (I used to show them, but they're all retired now). I also grow orchids, hoya, and a few other houseplants. I have three fish tanks, as well (reef and freshwater). I read (mostly about parrots and dogs). I'm fortunate to work from home, so I usually have a bird with me from dawn to nightfall. I'm also a caregiver to an elderly family member who lives at home.

I'm getting ready to go to work (one of the things I do aside from care for the birds lol) and I've got a Carlisle in his water dish and a Kayak making soup. I seriously just changed their water less than 2 minutes ago. This is why I never have time for anything else. *sigh* This morning I had a team call and Carlisle would not be quiet so he had to join me. We were on webcam chatting about the upcoming month of work and he was hiding down my shirt. Everybody loved him.

:54:Yes, yes I would.... And honestly I could make some if you want(not for you, maybe some one that's, well, a girl lol) , I just need more feathers LOL. And about preening, Oliver tried to mate with his feathers, and my ear. Guess I shouldn't wear them around him anymore LOL.

Chiquita, my sun conure is my full time hobby, but I enjoy piano, organ, and other keyboard work especially recording. I lay down tracks for fun and see what I can put together. I also enjoy horticulture. I have indoor plants here in the city and they seem to flourish in my large bedroom window. I don't have the green thumb that JerseyWendy obviously has. Those pics are incredible. (the doggies too). Motorized bicycling is another past time. It's good therapy to tinker with my gas bikes. Occasionally, I can enjoy the fruits of my labor until something else goes out of adjustment. But that's all part of the fun. It's a much better work out to pedal the hills of Atlanta. One more thing I have really enjoyed lately is cooking. I'm an old bachelor and my home-made dishes are almost as good as my Mom's were.

Another hobby is dyeing the hell out of my hair. Right now it is red. In the past I've had blue, green, pink, purple, white, pink with purple stripes, purple and white, fire engine red, etc, etc. I miss dyeing my hair fun colors.

Pink with purple 'Bride of Frankenstein' stripes. I wish I could find the pictures where my hair was up like hers with the stripes in their full glory. This was July 2008

My friend asked for a picture of my most recent dye job a couple months ago and I sent her this... I got photo bombed by Carlisle.

And for those of you wondering what color my hair naturally is (I wonder sometimes myself.) I let my hair grow out 100% and left it like that for about 4 years. I recently went back to dyeing it. It's pretty much an addiction with me. I find it hard not to dye it. I naturally have kinda wavy, a bit curly, and frizzy dark blonde hair. I straightened it for my best friend's wedding and that was just as nice as getting my hair done. Since getting my new Chi straightener I always have my hair straight and I love it! Curls/frizz is too much for me to take care of. February 13, 2011

I work alot, i have 2 current jobs, then I come home, and clean and spend time with the family, which consists of my Boyfriend, Fids, kitten, pitbull, lizards, scorpion and snake.
Besides that I draw, paint, whatever I can get my hands on ill turn it into something pretty.
I also used to play the drums, I haven't in a long time, I left them at mums when I moved out a few years ago, thinking about getting another set again though. I can also play guitar and a little piano.
I enjoy a lot of tv shows, especially sons of anarchy, the walking dead, and anything David Attenborough. I watch a lot of movies, and play some video and PC games.
I also am starting up a business with Tabitha making bird toys.
Basically I enjoy spending time with Scarlet and my Dog the most. They always calm me and make me happy when I'm sad. Scarlet is always si cheerful and happy, and Floyd will always give me a cuddle when I need it. Animals are great.
I have a busy life. Lol..

happy new year! umm what do i do besides take care of cooper. hmmm. i take care of both my dogs, both my cats, both my lizards, my snake and sometimes my neighbors dog. i also walk a few dogs in my neighborhood for extra money. i do to schools during the week. i hang out with my friends. i watch a lot of movies. i play a few PC games. i used to play soccer almost everyday of the year, but after blowing out my left knee twice, right knee once and breaking my left foot, i stopped. lol. i cant do to much running or pysical activity becase of my knees. whenever i run they hurt like crazy. sometimes even if i just sleep wrong they hurt. it sucks, i have the knees of a 50 year old when im 14 it kinda sucks when i cant run much.but oh well. it was worth the fun of 11 years of soccer. thats what i do. happy new year!
