Remind Me Why Not?

I was leaning towards talking them down a few hundred of dollars, then purchasing her without going down to see her. If I really couldn't manage, my mother has had wonderful success with large birds, although its been a while since she had any.

Its probably just as well

Okay, so, I'm not nosey ... *little devil on left shoulder grins* *little angel on right shoulder frowns* ... :55: :55: :55:

NZ, I'm sorry for your let down (all kidding aside). You have a good heart and I know you would have done the best with "Sailor" ... what was in her best interest. But, it always is a let down (been there, done that).

:60:

NZ I'm so sorry you didn't get her. Yep I was very divided on this one, but if you wanted her and knew you could work with her then thats all that matters,

Now I wanna know why they withdrew her? :( They obviously didn't want her and I'm sure she'd be happier with someone else, and have a far better life.

NZ, could you contact them? I mean they may have just not wanted the ad up anymore. Perhaps if you made an offer they'd reconsider.

Yeah, I was just thinking, maybe they withdrew her cos they couldn't be bothered with all the responses they were getting.

Maybe if you contacted them anyway they would let ya have her, knowing you were serious.

Maybe they really did love her and people were just making silly offers.

Nope, Trademe offers a 'ask questions' bit on a classified, where you ask a question and it gets emailed to the seller, without you seeing their email They
respond from their email though, and you go from there.

I never 'asked a question' because I knew if I did that as soon as saw her, I would have a cockatoo in my living room now (poor Pete!)

I needed to look at it clearly from both sides before I approached them, unfortunately, I took too long with my decision

Can you post asking them to contact you? I know that sometimes works.

you could post something like:

I am looking for the person who had the cockatoo posting. I would like to talk to you urgently, please email me.

then cross your fingers nose and toes that they do.

Or How bout this............

I am looking for the person who had the cockatoo posting. I would like to give you a severe bashing, over the living conditions of your Too. .........................

Hmmmmmmm on second thought might be better to go with Indigo's wording :D :D :D :D

especially if you want a replay back from them.

lol yours is what I'd want to word it as too though. people though ... they are SO sensitive *tsks*
