Something to keep in-mind for the future is that Quaker Parrots are probably the most territorial of all parrots when it comes to their "space" and their "belongings" that are located within their space. So it doesn't surprise me once bit that putting her into a new cage caused her some stress. She'll get over it and be fine, and as you said she's already adjusting to it, but just as an FYI, even just changing out a Quaker's toys, food/water dishes, perches, swings, etc. can really send them into a tantrum, followed by an extended bad-mood.
Lita, my blue Quaker who I got as a 12 week-old hand-raised baby, still to this day has a serious issue with me swapping-out toys or anything else inside of her cage. She doesn't so much mind the addition of a new toy (my Cockatiel is the one that this bothers, she's scared to death of any new things in her cage for a good month, you'd think the new toys were trying to murder her), but it's the removal of her old, ratty toys that are falling apart that she can't handle. She also throws a temper-tantrum whenever one of the other birds even lands on the top of her cage for just a second, and then she'll be visibly and vocally moody and just pissed-off about it for a good couple of hours afterwards. God forbid that Bowie, my Green Cheek who Lita is very closely-bonded to, is brave enough to actually step inside of her cage, because he may not make it back out again. They are extremely close birds and they can hang-out on or inside of Bowie's cage all the time, but the second that Bowie tries to set-foot inside of Lita's cage the screaming, squawking, angry talking/gibberish starts, and she'll start pulling the feathers out of his face and head until he exits the premises. So i have to be very careful to shut and latch all doors to Lita's cage when I let them out so that he can't get inside, otherwise it will not be pretty. She's such a hypocrite, she'll go over and crawl inside of Bowie's cage and start eating his pellets, seed-mix, veggies, etc., and she'll sit and chew on his new toys that he just got for hours (leaving her new toys untouched of course), but the second Bowie even lands on top of her cage she swoops down like a raptor on top of him...
Any time i buy her new toys or anything else that is going inside of her cage, I make sure to set it on top of her cage for a few days first, and usually she'll scream at it for a while, then she'll eventually go and sit next to it, and then eventually she'll stop screaming at it and talking to it and she'll start chewing on it. Once she starts "beaking" it then I'll put it inside of her cage, and she's usually fine with it; However, removing the old toy is a whole other story. It could be a wooden toy that has nothing left to it but a toothpick and she'll actually go after my hand while I'm taking it out. So I wait until I know she's good with the new toy, and then I take out the old junky toy and lay it on top of her cage, and I put the new toy that she's become accustom to in the spot that the old toy was in...And I usually give her a few days with the old toy sitting on top of the cage before I pitch it, which I usually do while she's out of the room and doesn't see me doing. That usually works really well. But she is a stubborn bird that is set in her ways, and her stuff is her stuff and you better not touch it! Doesn't matter that I bought it for her, lol...She'll occasionally even nip at my hands while I'm taking her food and water dishes out to feed her and change her water, the little ungrateful jerk! She'll go after my hands while I'm taking out her food dish and then again when I'm putting the new food in, and then she goes right to town eating away...But that's a Quaker!
