Rug tufting- harmful to birds?

So I just started rug tufting and bought all the materials but after making the first rug and opening the carpet adhesive I realized it smelled really bad? Is it toxic for my birds ? They aren’t in the same room and are down stairs from where I work can I still make it manageable that I use that stuff if it is harmful? I wouldn’t want anything to happen to my birds but I’ve always wanted to do this is there a way to do this safe. Here is the product I hope someone can help me

I'm on the cautious side. Normal carpet and tile adhesive is toxic to birds. I'd have to say yes, definitely not for this. Fumes carry and linger. Evenow VOC are still not completely safe until dry. I don't know alternative to carpet type glue. Maybe someone who works with it can help.

I would invest in an air purifier, a fan, and open a window and have the fan blow air away from the workspace and out the window.. You should be okay with those items. Otherwise, I would say no.
