Hope you all enjoyed the 'new' pics of Skittles in his 'new' cage. He is just loving it. It did take him a few days to completely accept it - but now he totally loves it.

I love that he has so much more room to move around in. I am hoping to take more pics of him in the coming days.

I had to remove the bottom cuddle hut cause the little stinker was chewing it up. So I put a chew toy on the floor of the cage instead, within two days he had destroyed it. He likes to bang his beak on the bars. I don't know if it's cause he likes to feel or the sound.

Skittles is such a little doll! I'm glad he adjusted to his cage right away, and now loves it.

Yes, I am so glad he likes it. He was a bit hesitant when it came to commands and signals regarding the playtop but now he flies over to it on command. He's not quite at the point of coming out on his own when I open the door but rather relies on me sticking my hand in and he climbs on it. He's almost at the point of going in on his own, but not coming out. I think it's more that he's used to climbing into his old cage from the top, whereas this cage he has to use the front.

I love 'peeking' in on him during the night to see him all snuggled in his cuddle hut. He's just so precious. The cage also goes so well with my living room.

Well, today was an 'interesting' day. Skittles was trying to make a nest on me, or so it seemed.

He kept ripping things up and climbing up my shirt and tucking it under. Several times he even climbed down my shirt.

He cracks me up sometimes.

@BoomBoom You mean the 'froggy noises'? He makes those a LOT. Especially when I talk to him. It's like he's saying "uhuh, yep, uhuh". That and his kissy noises.

I'm sure Kyoto is just as fulfilling. From what I know (which is very little) about GCC - they are basically just like suns (minus the vibrant colors, loud screeches and 'attitude'). So you get it all without the two biggest downers of owning a sun - the screeching and the attitude. Suns ARE little divas and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

If something is going on in my house that can be dramatized, Skittles is right there to direct and produce the drama - expecting me to fund it.

Well, the king has 'officially' received his 'plaque' asserting his position in society. Now, I just have to invest in the red carpet to place outside the door.

I also 'attempted' to get a new picture set of him - but he wouldn't have it....it's weird. Sometimes he loves being photographed and recorded and other times he won't have any of it.

Hahaha! That last photo! Even at their worst, sun conures are just so cute. Boomer never had issues with taking photos until a few months ago. Like Skittles, I now have to catch him when he's in the mood.

Good job on the plaque! It looks professionally made.

You said it! They are just soooo cute you can't help but love them. Even when Skittles gets mad cause I won't share a food item with him he's still so cute!

I had a 'lazy day' today and Skittles took advantage of it. I was hoping to catch him at his cutest, but he is always distracted by the camera. He'll lay on his back on my chest and wiggle his wings on my chest hair or he'll climb into my shirt and rub his head or he'll wrap his wing around my neck but not when the camera is in sight. I was able to catch him doing some cutesy stuff.

I'm gonna have to set up a 'secret camera' to catch him at his cutest. Only problem is, I have limited storage space on my cam.
