Ziggy, Kai, and Seiji (blue, yellowface, and dilute budgies)
Jasper (yellow-naped amazon)
Lilla (senegal parrot)
Snowberry (yellow-crowned amazon)
Cricket (pacific parrotlet)
I feel bad for the budgies that are impulse bought on q day to day basis from pet stores
Yeah, they're so overlooked and unappreciated. Why can't more people realize they deserve the same amount of love as a macaw or cockatoo?
I wish they became more expensive so people would impulse buy them less

I live in the UK and haven't seen small birds being sold in pet stores for several years, you can only buy them from breeders now. My parents bought one of my budgies from a garden centre many years ago lol

Yeah there's so many fake breeders now on those pet breeder websites, I have heard from others they get you to pay a deposit and then when you pay the breeder a few days later they send you a message saying the bird has died which isn't true and then they say they will refund you but it never happens.

Sometimes it's easy to tell if something is a scam, sometimes it's harder...so you always have to watch out for little signs (little to no pics, too-good-to-be-true prices, etc). And read reviews if they exist on the site
