Teaching My Budgie to Fly

Aloha,

Seeing that a mother bird would teach their chick to fly, do i have to “Teach” her to fly too? If so, how am I able to do that? She’s about 4.5 weeks old and I have begun weaning. She is trained to step up.

Burds are orogram d to fledge. They will beat their wings and do givers, or start making short flights.

Yiu want to have them in a cage that is large enough for them to beat and flap their wings without hitting stuff. And I would let them practice maybe in a bedroom and if no carpet out blsnked or rugs or pillows in the floor till they get good enough to not crash .. try to make everything safe. Close curtains when they are learning. Take them fir walks around house and tap on walls and window, repeat many times. Show them safe landing oerches. So if they get spooked when learning they know we’re to head to land
