Todays visit with Mango

He willingly came over hopped up on my hand. Sat on my hands the whole hour, and did not fly away once. Only thing was he was getting mouthy but I would push him onto the other hand a few times and he got the message.

He looks pretty big for a baby YSA. Is he eating on his own? Why does this store think he is not ready yet?
He looks like he is the size of my 7 year old, but maybe it's just a picture.

The picture is probably an illusion. He is almost ready, the owner of the store days he is taking two very small feedings a day and that he doesn't like rushing birds.

Mango should be coming home in maybe a week. His last few days of feeding he supposedly didn't eat much of the baby food and when I walked in he was eating his pellets.
