Hello, Iām here again with my babies of Superb parrots.
Last time they were pooping red, but it was because of beetrot. After some time they were completely fine. But this morning one of them stopped digesting. So I gave him some medicine that vet gave me for baby parrots than arenāt digesting. Most of the time it helped me. But this is probably some infection. Or idk. It was just one. Iām feeding every 4 hours. And after 4 hours he still havenāt digest and another one stopped digesting too. I fed them before 6 hours and their crops are still almost full. So Iāll be giving them antibiotics.
But the third one is worrying me too. Idk how old he is. Breeder never told me. But heās the second oldest. Oldest one is really active. Always looking for something new. But this oneā¦ he just lays all the time. Heās not walking. Always have his head down. Iām worried sick. This is the first time raising and hand feeding Superb parrots and itās been hell. Iām used to cockatiels. Theyāre hard to raise as well. But this is just pain. Iām totally hysterical.
Can somebody please help? Idk what to do. Give him antibiotics as well? Or perhaps calcium?
