I think so, but it wouldn't be so funny unless you'd have the real rainbow budgies in the petshop (and I think it's rare) - then the reaction could be something like "They AREN'T rainbow budgies! Where's violet, red, pink?'

Ps. the top photo are budgies but lovebirds or parrotlets (who knows, they're photoshopped but)

I really do feel bad as I know there is someone out there searching for these photoshopped parrots thinking they are real. They probably shouldn’t be out there. I myself didn’t know anything about mutations, or how important coloration in parrots is to a breeder until my vet educated me. Those mutations are worth a lot of money.
