Oh Thanks :)

But the problem is that he's scared of me :( Though he's actually sitting on my lap in the picture

Wow, I was expecting an older parrot from the description. He's certainly a baby baby, like cdog said, probably around 2 months.

Just go slow with him, speak softly etc. He'll come around :)

I know with my babies even though they were handraised and are sweet, they are still afraid of my hands, at least after they step up on them and get out of the cage and don't want to go back in.;) Just make sure you don't grab him and let them come to you. If you need to pick him up use a small towel or blanket so he doesn't blame your hands. Best thing to do is just talk softly to them and open the door and let them set the pace.

Good luck, he/she is adorable Love his big beak and little body!!!

You just got him from a breeder? Are you handfeeding him?

Changing handfeeder is a shock to the baby thats why he's scared! Part of the reason why I never sell unweaned chicks.
