Baby birdies puppies kittens are addictive!

Awww! A BABY! I just LOVE babies (birds, that is). I would do it in a heartbeat if I were you.

The fella I'm interested in, who has the YS chick, also has pineapple GCCs that have just weaned. I might just end up getting an older baby. But handfeeding is SOOOO tempting.

After some thought, I've decided on one of the 9-week-old pineapples. Monday should be the arrival day.

I found the last picture I took of Tailgate and Quasar together. The two of them were sleeping :D .

Pineapple GCC has been paid for! Being delivered tomorrow around 9 pm :D. The guy is like SUPER close to me. If it were anyone else, I wouldn't trust him.
:D

Are you going yo keep the baby separate from Quasar so you can bond?

I'd definitely keep him separated from everyone! Not just for bonding but the jealousy factor. Dogs included.

Planning on keeping them separated for the first little while :) . If they get along from afar, I was gonna introduce them.

The Pineapple is HOME! I'm deciding on a name - my top 3 picks are Psyon, Psyche, and Psych. A fourth might be Pulsar, to go with Quasar. Which of those names do you prefer?

Aww so cute! Congrats!
I like the name Pulsar for a bird because it makes me think of quick bursts of energy; and those birdies sure seem to have plenty of energy, lol!

Between this forum and another, Pulsar is in the lead. Cool! :D Thanks for your input!

And the name of the new bird is **Drum roll**

PULSAR!

They're settling in nicely. They're very quiet, much to my surprise! Could be because they're very young yet and it's a new environment :D.

Thank you, everyone! :D.

Are you going to give Pulsar a vet check? Maybe a sex test? I assume you can't quarantine Pulsar. Whats his cage going to be? Are you able to handle him? Is he fully weaned? What does he eat?
So much be all wanna know about baby Pulsar (I like the name)!

Vet check in about 4 weeks, sex check, probably not. I can't quarantine Pulsar well.... but I am keeping them separated :) . Right now they're in my travel cage, but I'll have a cage free soon, as I'm planning to get a new cage in a while. They are hand tame, but it's only been a day so they're quite nervous. As for food... they're eating Tropican and veggies, and they learned the water bottle within an hour. I'm so proud of the stinker :D.

Here at Domnijoe, I have a mild tummy ache today. All yesterday evening, I was complaining because I felt horrible. Poor burds didn't get anything but a peanut from me yesterday (They free feed pellets for this very reason). So yeah... between painting for a show I have on Sunday, and making display boards for some friends helping me, I have to make the critters their veggies.

Yvons has discovered my toy shelf next to his cage. He's already started dismantling my collection of Transformers there. Little stinker, LOL. I've since moved the cage, so he can't reach them, but he's curious. I really need to get him a climbing may!

Pulsar is fitting in wonderfully. He and Quasar are best buds now that Pulsar is out of quarantine.

Happy to hear Pulsar is fitting in and that Quasar has a new buddy ☺️

I wish someone would write a book that CAG's and others tend to find, reach and destroy items even from inside of cages. I used to keep a 4 inch board around cage to remind me the reach limit. Items outside seem to be more challenging by being outside. I don't know how many items I set down for just a minute that seemed out of reach. Then came back to messes.
