I'm really hoping this weekend is one that brings good news. Any updates on the news story that was supposed to run? Is it still being delayed or have they decided not to run it? I sure hope they do. I think it will be extremely helpful. As always, everyone is sending good vibes and hoping for the best.

Right now, it's FIESTA time in San Antonio, which is kind of like a scaled down Mardi Gras... all the fluff news around here is focused on Fiesta events.
By then losing Maggie will be "old news."

I hate to say it, and I really hope I'm wrong (please tell me I am Mark?!), but I think if they do still run it, it will definitely be delayed now. There was a major drug bust/Mexican Mafia raid this morning in Seguin (nearby town for those unfamiliar) that spanned from San Antonio to Houston. Brought in the FBI and DEA and needless to say, it's blowing up local news. Proud of my hometown for busting them, but unfortunate timing.

I'm not a rah-rah sports person... so yeah, I'm not paying $1,000 bucks to see a game that's also on TV for free.
As for Fiesta.
I've been to Carnival in Rio and Bahia, and I've been to Junkanoo in the bahamas, Marti Gras in NORleans, and I've been to San Francisco Carnaval....
Fiesta?! Kinda just doesn't rate. It seems to be mostly about eating and drinking... (both to excess.) And there's no place to park...
I've heard the Oyster Bake is really, really good though. That's tonight. Haven't been. Don't have tickets.
