New budgie help? Watery poo

Hello, I just got my new budgie Corvo a few days ago. He had a previous owner who never gave him any fruits or veggies. I've been trying to give him more, and he's started eating them finally. It looks like there's alot of water in there with his poo, and I was wondering if that was normal since it's his first time eating them.

I am guessing that the watery pooo occurred 'after' he began eating more fruits. Yes? If so, add more veggies and cut back on the Fruits. This should reduce the amount of water in the pooo.

NOTE: It is not totally unusual for a Parrot to have watery pooo as part of coming to a new home and/or the addition of Fruits to the diet. It is also one of the signs we look for regarding the health of our Parrots. If cutting back on the Fruit does not reduce the amount of water seen in the Pooo, a trip to a Certified Avian Vet is recommended.

Assorted seeds, the food that the previous owner have to me. Upgrading to pellets soon. He had also had a bath and drank while he was playing. Could that have something to do with it? It's gone back to normal since I made this post, just asking for in the future.

try to get him on a pellet diet and also the water in his poo might be more related to how much he is drinking. Birds really don't need a lot of water....it should always be there and fresh and cool, but if they drink a lot of water, guess what, it comes out as watery poo. I'd watch his water intake, see if he's just drinking a lot. in which case it's ok, but find out why he's drinking a lot, too hot out?
