Parrots
Conure
I recently got a conure and he was labeled as Jenday but I’m positive he is a Sun. Just wanted other parrot peoples thoughts. He turns one at the end of april.

I agree! I don’t own any but I have looked at comparison photos of adults v juveniles before, and typically Jenday conures always have solid green wings, even when young, whereas Suns start green and the wings develop the yellow feathering along the joint as they age!

Could it also be a sun/jenday cross? Depending on where you got him, they aren’t always sure.

Yeah I got him at petco as that was my only option

Oh yeah, then he’ll be labelled whatever the breeder says he is, but sometimes they don’t get it straight either, LOL.
