So basically how you play this, is you answer a question each day (day 1= question 1 and so forth). You can do multiple birds of course! Hopefully in a little while there will be a nice collection of bird stuff! This is also a way you can make sure you and others are caring for their/your birds correctly, so if you have any suggestions, then they are very welcome! By the way, you continue for as long as you want :)

1. Your bird's name, sex, and age

2. Your bird's favorite food

3. Some bird life hacks

4. A picture of your bird

5. A picture of your bird's setup

6. A picture of your bird outside (however you choose to do that)

7. A picture of any other pets you may have (if you have none, share a cute/random pic of your birds!)

8. 3 cute habits your bird has

9. Things you want people to know when looking into getting your type of bird

10. What you feed your bird and how you get/make it

11. A picture of your bird playing with toys/destroying random stuff

12. Describe your bird's personality

13. DIY's you have done for your bird and how to do them

14. The craziest thing your bird did/a near death experience

15. Something hard that your bird helped you through

16. The biggest stereotype about your bird's species

17. If your bird's species should be allowed as a pet or if they're too expensive/cheap

18. Your biggest pet peeve when it comes to birds

19. The worst thing someone has ever said about your bird

20. They reason you love them and more fun facts about them

Enjoy, and please number them so I know which one you're answering!!!

Day 3:
This is not so much a bird life hack as it is a cat-bird safety training tip. This is how to teach your cat to 'leave it'.
1: Get a couple of cat treats. Select one treat to be the treat you practice with, and the other treats will be the rewards.

2: Get your cat's attention, and show them the practice treat, however when they go to eat it, put your hand over it and say 'leeeeeave iiiiiiiit', and give them a treat from your other hand (this shows them that they can't just wait a couple of seconds and then eat the treat).

3: Once they get better at this, start uncovering your hand, and even bouncing the treat. When they get even more advanced, use a mouse toy.

P.S. I have trained both my cats to do this no problem, so you can too!

Day 4:

IMG_20211105_105245.jpg

Oof these pics are really bad, but I only have a chromebook, so this will have to do. The green one is Picasso, blue one is Stormy, and that beautiful recessive pied is Pepper!

P.S. I know my cage is super small, but my budgies free roam all day and only have to go in their cage at night. Also that random tank in the backround is my turtle tank.

P.P.S. Yes, that is seed. Yes, I do sprinkle seed on the ground for them to eat sometimes. Yes, they do get seed daily outside of training, BUT...... they get a lot of exercise, and they get to exercise all day, which is way more than most birds. They never are forced to go in their cage in the day! They also eat all of their veggie chop, and they get vitamin supplements in their water, plus they don't get too much seed. They are very healthy and a good weight. Usually they will choose veggie over seed. Anyhow, I feel like people will tell me to give them a better cage and never feed seed, so I gave reasons why I do those things :).

Day 9:
The noise isn't loud, but constant.
They are flighty.
They should have at least 6 hours of out of cage time a day because they need to fly so much.
They need a big cage.
They LOVE sprouts and other stringy plants.
They deserve to be treated with the same respect as a macaw.
They should have at least 1 friend.
They need a varied diet consisting of mostly veggies with supplemental calcium and protien such as cottage cheese and hard boiled egg yolk.
