As US Congressional investigations continue, Anthony Fauci said recently that he is ā€œnot convincedā€ COVID-19 developed naturally!
A document written by Chinese scientists and Chinese public health officials in 2015 discussed the weaponisation of SARS coronavirus, reveals the Weekend Australian. Titled The Unnatural Origin of SARS and New Species of Man-Made Viruses as Genetic Bioweapons, the paper predicted that World War Three would be fought with biological weapons. Released five years before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, it describes SARS coronaviruses as a ā€œnew era of genetic weaponsā€ that can be ā€œartificially manipulated into an emerging human disease virus, then weaponised and unleashed in a way never seen beforeā€.
Peter Jennings, the executive director of the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI), told news.com.au that the document is as close to a ā€œsmoking gunā€ as weā€™ve got.

ā€œI think this is significant because it clearly shows that Chinese scientists were thinking about military application for different strains of the coronavirus and thinking about how it could be deployed,ā€ said Mr Jennings. ā€œIt begins to firm up the possibility that what we have here is the accidental release of a pathogen for military use,ā€ added Mr Jennings. He also said that the document may explain why China has been so reluctant for outside investigations into the origins of COVID-19.

ā€œIf this was a case of transmission from a wet market it would be in Chinaā€™s interest to co-operate ā€¦ weā€™ve had the opposite of that.ā€ Among the 18 listed authors of the document are Peopleā€™s Liberation Army scientists and weapons experts. The People's Liberation Army is the regular armed forces of the People's Republic of China and the armed wing of the PRC's founding and ruling political party, the Chinese Communist Party.

Robert Potter, a cyber security specialist who analyses leaked Chinese government documents was asked by The Australian to verify the paper. He says the document definitely isnā€™t fake.

Masks. Masks are Good. Why??

......POLLEN!!!!!..........

Being now well-more than 2 weeks past shot-2, I am considered fully immune.

Mostly wearing a mask anyway, but SO beautiful this past weekend. Lulled me into false sense of security. Forgot there were Reasons I had been glad for the mask-recommendations, my own reasons unrelated to the sorrows of the epidemic. I no longer look foolish if I choose to wear facial covering, hence I am free to do so.

But. I Forgot why I had previously wanted to do so.

Oh it was SO beautiful sunday. Green, green, everything was green. Including my car, which I had washed only the day before...

Woke up early. Took Sunny out for a walk. Long walk, maybe an hour. I was still gonna be early for church, so went for another walk by the river.

And then it hit me. So foolish. No mask either time. I had been Breathing In ALL that beautiful green POLLEN. I did let the new pastor know, not to be offended if I walked out early... and indeed I actually made it thru the service... but UGGH. Uggh. Antihistamines and a do-nothing-much day once I got home.

It is SO so beautiful outside. I might take Sunny for a walk today. IF i do i WILL be happily sporting a Mask!

The Only good outcome of this Covid, if I choose to wear a mask to protect myself from other dangers such as ***POLLEN*** , I can do so, without making other folks think i have some dangerous disease.

Off topic in off topic, pictures if you can swing would be nice. Maybe indedicated thread somewhere.

Well this picture is not from today.
After posting my pollen complaint, above, I took a FEW STEPS outside, to the trashcans, with No mask, and despite taking more antihistamine I'm now having too much allergies for a walk, or for any further outside-activities today.
Most recent walk-photo is from April, by the river in Newburyport:

(Masks were Not optional, and, there was Not any pollen that day! )

Nice opportunity with a water view for you and Sunny.

I can relate from a different prospective on the awkwardness masks can be. I started using a valved and filtered mask in January 2020 during cold workouts. The targeted payoff is in lung performance. The mask will warm the air prior to entering the lungs. The carbon filter can help with displacement of pollutants such as residential fireplace smoke.

I encountered kids that looked at me with defined confusion. Received out burst laughter from an adult cyclist. I'd imagine he viewed it as overreaction to the startup of Covid-19 concerns. Using it in warmer weather, I recall a guy stopped at a traffic light scramble to roll up his window as he stared as I approached on the crosswalk.

The brand is Training Mask. It has an adjustable air flow restrictor for intense training. I used the restrictor a few times, however the mask set to max airflow is naturally restricted with split directional airflow. The filtration is on the left and the valved exhaust on the right. I have defaulted to conventional face mask on some cold weather workouts. My favorite has a replaceable carbon filter insert.

Take care using a Mask for outside activities, especially those that involve moderate to heavy activities as it is very easy to become overheated /short of breath and pass-out. Especially the N-95 or better grade of Masks. Made that mistake with a lawn mover. Not fun coming to, surrounded by Medical response staff, neighbors and my dear wife. Thank God, for a modern mower with auto stop feature! The thin cloth style are safer for that type of activity.

Fascinating concept, first I've heard of the Training Mask! Might have to try during outdoor running. https://www.healthline.com/health/training-mask-benefits

Sounds like you got more attention than you would have liked.

It's also important to stay hydrated in the management of getting overheated.

I also do all of my own yard work, always sporting a Binks respirator. Volume flow is excellent.

It is not functional for use in Covid-19, circling back to topic, precautions as the exhaust is valved without filtration. It would protect me, but not others from me.

I would not consider using it in workouts as the bulkiness would conflict with impact activity and I would glow as a super nerd.

Good reference.

The brand I use can be confused as a noun rather than a proper noun:
https://www.trainingmask.com
The model I have is the Vent Filtration Trainer.

Yes I did, as I had broken one of my Golden Rules! Don't do stupid stuff! 90+ degree day, like humidity, heavy pollen and dry grass! So, add a Mask and everything will be fine!

Quick and slightly humorous story of hydration..... (live and learn)

Went out for a run during layover in Las Vegas during Summer. Early morning, temps had not peaked. Quickly exhausted two water bottles stored in pockets. Thankfully I carried a few dollar bills and attempted to purchase water from strip-mall vending machine. Oops, out of water but bottle of Diet Coke looked refreshing, so much so I quickly downed another! Not five minutes later I felt horribly bloated, pain spread throughout my abdomen. Stopped running, sought shade on a patch of grass and rested on my left side. Looked like a homeless person in public, nobody bothered to inquire. Half hour later relief, continued to hotel. How stupid!!

If anyone is morbidly interested, I'll share story of dumb food choices and how it led me to make emergency landing as student pilot!

Ogunquit Maine. Marginal Way. Wind from all directions, minimal pollen - no mask needed! Although, it seems most - or some ?- restaurants are still restricted to outside- dining only.

Hmmm, seems that a special day is quickly approaching regarding insurance companies off-setting costs of SARS-CoV-2 or more simply CIVID-19. That magic day is September 30, 2021 and for those of you who write it correctly: 30, September, 2021.

That date ends "all" co-payments of COVID-19 Testing, Vaccine and Care ordered by a health-care provider from your Insurance provider and Medicare. The most important part of this information is that Medicare is the Government part of those costs.

Long story very short: Time to get your Vaccine!

And that is becoming ever more difficult as major facilities are either already closed or closing rapidly.

My county just advanced to lowest precautionary tier of Yellow. State is on track to eliminate all protocols save for Federal June 15, 2021. Tens of thousands of unwanted J&J vaccines about to expire! In my area, plenty of walk-up sites for those wishing to be vaccinated.

Do you have a reference for this? Would like to share the info, because that seems big...
