I don't know how things work where you are Pipp, but here many lost birds end up at our big RSPCA centre, so you should also let your local equivalent know about Jeff. Also alert any local bird fanciers, clubs or breeder societies too. Don't lose heart Pipp, we are all sending prayers and every good wish for Jeff's safe return!

Be sure not to stress him by letting people gather around him. Also, if he's not trained to descend, it may be too scary for him, so just try to lure him down slowly instead of having him fly down all at once.

He's not trained.

What I did is left a travel cage on top of the budgie cage with food in. That should lead him there.

Don't worry, my family member are the ones telling ME to not to getl excited when I see him

Call to him and rattle some dry food around in one of his dishes, that's how I got Jem to come down off of our shed roof when I caught him

I had to move the birds in because it's getting cold. I left a small cage with seed ot though. He can probably still hear the budgies thiug
